What to Wear for Spring

Spring is here, and we couldn’t be more excited about all of the new spring items we have coming in! There’s just something about this time of year. The flowers are blooming. Everything is green, and there are so many events going on. From happy hours to rooftop bars and festivals, I feel like spring is the best time of year to showcase some more flirty, fun style elements. So, we’ve put together some of our favorite spring outfits.

First of all, I have to say, that we’re having a bit of a cowboy boot moment here at Meadow Collective. They’re the perfect shoewear for spring, and even Bella Hadid has hopped on the cowgirl aesthetic. So of course, we had to feature all the fun cowboy boots we have in the shop! The challenge I think some people have is “what to wear cowboy boots with?” or “how to style cowboy boots?” And I think a lot of that depends on the look you’re going for.

Our white desert dreamer cowboy boots are perfect with a pop of color; that’s why we love them with our Nine Lives Bazaar Jupiter Mini Dress in gold. I love this dress because it gives a little bit of 70s retro vibes, especially when paired with these Crap sunglasses. We also paired one of our white Melie Bianco bags to match the boots. I imagine that this is the perfect look to wear to brunch with the girls. So, next time you’re sitting at home wondering what to wear to brunch next week, we have an option for you! Also, it’s a bit of a throwback but I imagine that this is something Daisy Jones would wear!

This next look is also paying homage to the cowgirl trend we’re seeing lately. We love these vintage ankle-high emerald green cowboy boots and straw cowboy hat paired with this Nine Lives Bazaar Midi dress in emerald. I am obsessed with these three pieces together. Normally, I would think the cowboy hat and cowboy boots cowboy might be a bit of an overkill to wear out and about, but this dress provides the perfect balance that actually makes this look wearable. You could really dress this dress up with a pair of heels and the right accessories, but I love how it looks with a more casual vibe. Really, I think this look is giving concert or country music festival vibes, or I could see myself wearing this on a breezy afternoon, walking around a farmer’s market, or running errands. To finish off the look, we also threw in this classic leather crossbody, some Navone earrings, and this adorable turquoise cuff.

Our third and final spring look is one of my favorites. We couldn’t resist these Moonrise Jaci Cowboy boots in butterfly brown, so we decided to base the look on the colors in the boots for consistency. The main pieces in this look are this Spell Lovers Beach Midi Skirt and this Rolla’s Dallas Linen Vest in white. These pieces together with these boots create the perfect harmony of brown, white, and muted pink/mauve tones. The neutral, soft pink tones in the Spell skirt really bring out the pop of pink in the boots, without being too obvious. And the cream-colored Rolla’s top also offers some nice contrast to the bottom half of the outfit and makes it perfect to pair with this light pink Frida Eco Clutch. We also had to throw in these appropriately-named Glam Rodeo Crap sunglasses.
