A Full-Circle Moment at Vizcaya: Returning to Where It All Began
A Full-Circle Moment at Vizcaya: Returning to Where It All Began
In a dreamy, full-circle moment, Meadow Collective returned to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens for a romantic boho fashion shoot featuring the Spell Floridian collection—lush greens and light coral pinks that feel perfectly, effortlessly Miami.
There are places that hold pieces of our story long before we understand the meaning of them. For me, that place has always been Vizcaya Museum & Gardens—a dreamy estate on the edge of Biscayne Bay that once introduced me to the world I now live and breathe every day.
Walking onto the grounds again—more than twenty-five years later—felt like stepping into a memory I had been carrying with me all along. A soft, full-circle moment. A return to the beginning.

Where My Path First Unfolded
Before Meadow Collective, before the boutiques, before the collections and long nights preparing launches… there was a girl working at her father’s little restaurant, The Last Carrot, unsure of her place but full of quiet hope.
One of our regular customers happened to be a fashion stylist. One afternoon she looked at me and asked, “Would you want to help me on a shoot?”
The job?
A commercial for the Florida Lottery.
The location?
Vizcaya.
I had never stepped into that kind of world before. But something in me said yes.
That day, I wandered the gardens as her stylist assistant—pinning garments, steaming fabric, running back and forth across marble floors and coral stone pathways. And something happened inside me that I can only describe as recognition.
A remembering.
A knowing.
It flowed.
It made sense.
It felt like home.
Before that day, I had been floating—unsure, searching, waiting. But at Vizcaya, I found my path in one single, life-altering moment. I left that job knowing fashion would be my work, my craft, my world.
I went back to school for fashion design. I built collections. I created jewelry. I opened shops. I carved out the life my soul kept nudging me toward.
And all these years later… there I was, standing again in the same gardens where it all began.
The Spell Floridian Moment: A Match Made in Vizcaya Heaven
When I first saw the Spell Floridian collection, I knew instantly—this was the one. The one meant for Vizcaya.
The prints felt like they were designed for these gardens.
The soft, lush greens blending into the foliage…
The light corally pinks echoing the pastel stone, the bougainvillea, the Miami sunrise…
It was so Miami.
So Vizcaya.
A match made in heaven.
I didn’t just choose this collection for the shoot—
I felt it.
It felt like the universe handing me the exact pieces that mirrored my story, my beginning, my return.
Our Vizcaya Shoot: A Story in Sunlight and Stillness
Returning to Vizcaya for this shoot wasn’t just about creating beautiful imagery—it was about honoring the place that first whispered, go this way.
Together with the incredibly talented photographer Brittany Castillo, we set out to capture softness, wildness, and the poetry of living an unplugged life.
In the quiet corners of Vizcaya, where marble steps meet overgrown ivy and the sea whispers through ancient arches, she wanders—barefoot, sun-kissed, untamed. The world hums beyond the garden walls, but here time feels softer. Slower.
Each piece she wears is a love letter to daydreamers… to the women who move through the world with heart-first intention:
• Spell Blue Bird Cami — a whisper of blue that feels like sky and freedom.
• Spell Floridian Shirt Dress — breezy, effortless, the definition of unhurried beauty.
• Spell Floridian Reversible Robe — two worlds in one garment, soft + fluid.
• Spell Floridian Maxi Skirt — movement, ease, pure feminine flow.
• Spell Floridian Bias Dress — sunlit elegance, made for golden hour.
• Spell Hera Crop Top — a little mythic, a little modern, a lot of magic.
• Spell Sannah Maxi Skirt — romantic volume with a wanderer’s soul.
Threads woven with daydreams. Sun-faded linen that remembers salt air and laughter. Gold catching the final light before dusk.
She isn’t chasing trends.
She’s chasing stillness.
The art of being unhurried.
The Muse of a Simpler World
Here, in the gardens, she rediscovers what it means to live outside—to let the wind style her hair, to feel petals brush her skin, to collect moments instead of notifications.
Romantic.
Wild.
Present.
She is the muse of a simpler world.
Barefoot in the garden.
Heart wide open.
Living the poetry of an unplugged life.
A Return, A Beginning, A Blessing
This shoot wasn’t just for the new Spell collection. It was for the girl I used to be, wandering Vizcaya for the first time, realizing what her life could look like.
It was for the dreamers, the wanderers, the women reinventing themselves one brave step at a time.
Everything started here for me.
And somehow, twenty-five years later, it feels like everything is just beginning again.
