Spring Wardrobe Haul

This is absolutely one of my favorite times of the year, even if the pollen is driving me crazy. I love spring. I love the warmth. I love the anticipation of summer and summer trips. I love seeing everything bloom, and I love most of all the fashion that comes with spring.

Even though the weather in Miami doesn’t change much, and we really don’t really have seasons, there’s a whole different look to spring fashion that I just can’t get enough of. Maybe it’s something about the light, girly nature of spring fashion or the florals and vivid colors, or maybe it’s the inherently bohemian nature that comes with spring pieces. Whatever it is, I love all of the new pieces I’ve gotten in lately from Spell, Indah, Jen’s Pirate Booty, and more!

So, to share my love of spring and of fashion, I thought I’d put together some spring-themed flat lays of all my new favorite pieces paired together. Take the flat lay as a guide or inspiration for whatever occasion you have coming up.

 Brunch with the gals? A trip to Robert is Here or some other farmer’s market? Spring garden party? Happy hour? Or just going to grab groceries? It doesn’t matter whatever you’re doing, take the time to enjoy this lovely weather we’re having and celebrate your love of fashion and spring.

Jen’s Pirate Booty spring look

This first look is one of my favorites! Its airy, light vibe just screams spring. And it's simple enough to dress up or down depending on what you’re doing. This white Jen’s Pirate Booty dress is absolutely to-die-for. The ruched back makes it super comfortable and flattering on almost every body type and the A-line skirt helps accentuate your shape! I like pairing this look with these hammered brass Navone earrings. They may look heavy, but they’re light and virtually go with everything, definitely a shop favorite. I also like to throw in a hat because this Miami sun is brutal out here, and we need to protect our skin! This Lovely Bird Dallas hat is great for transitioning between seasons and is a great addition to your closet for all of your fall and spring looks.

You can find our other fun products in this look. Definitely be sure to check out the sea spray for effortless springtime beachy waves!

We’re bringing overalls back

This second look also gives me a classic springtime vibe. I imagine I’d wear this if I was going to pick some strawberries or down to the keys for a day.  These Jen’s Pirate Booty overalls are super light and comfy. My favorite part of them is the embellished detail on the pockets. But more than that, they’re the perfect way to add a little more style to a basic tee. However, with that said this pink tie-dye tee from LoveShackFancy is anything but basic. Made out of organic cotton, it’s the perfect, casual piece that you need to carry you through the spring and into summer.

Without the accessories, this outfit is pretty basic, but with them, it’s elevated to a whole new level. These bronze polarized Crap sunglasses (yes, that’s the actual name of the brand) add some functionality and extra style to the look. And I love this shape, in particular, because it reminds me of the 70s and Stevie Nicks. Also, obsessed with this chunky amethyst necklace for its pop of color. Plus, the chain is adjustable, so you can wear it at any length you want. And lastly, another favorite hat from Lovely Bird Dallas, but instead of straddling between fall and spring. This straw fedora is perfect for the warmer seasons!

Spell=spring perfection

Saved the best for last because I’m obsessed with these Spell pieces. This white, crochet top is a great piece for spring because it’s so light, and it practically goes with everything! Throw it over a swimsuit for a little more coverage at the beach, or pair with these pink floral Spell shorts. I personally love these shorts because they’re super flattering and flowy. A lot of times, I feel like shorts can be so tight and suffocating, especially in the Miami heat, but these are just perfect.

Moving onto the accessories because no outfit is complete without the right accessories. I love this Friends of Friends braided seagrass hat because it’s perfect for keeping the sun out of your face, and it doesn’t give you hat hair! It also adds to the bohemian vibe of this look. These Crap sunglasses are another great addition to this look for a couple reasons. First of all, who doesn’t love a good pair of sunglasses, especially when they’re sustainably made? And these particular sunglasses are a very neutral shape so they look great on every face shape.  I also threw in a cute crossbody and this rainbow-protective baroque pearl necklace to complete the look.
