The Top 5 Best Last-Minute Halloween Costumes
Halloween is only a few days away! And if you’re stressing out about a costume, don’t worry! We’ve got the best last-minute Halloween costumes. Come into the shop, and we can help you put together a few looks from some of our favorite pieces. And, after Halloween is over, you’ll still have an awesome piece to add to your wardrobe.
Here, we have our Princess Leia look. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Star Wars, but I love this look. It’s so easy to pull together, and this Jen’s Pirate Booty Kealia Dress is perfect heading into the winter/holiday season. For creating this look, I paired this whimsical dress with an old belt I had—but any belt will work. If you want one like this, I suggest looking through a few thrift stores or on Amazon. And then, I added in a cuff from the shop, and put my hair in two buns with the help of these hair donuts.
This is probably one of my favorite looks, but I’m biased because I love Princess Buttercup from The Princess Bride. Here is my boho interpretation of Princess Buttercup, ya know if she gave up her crown and moved to Costa Rica. For this look, I started with this gorgeous Jen’s Pirate Booty Smoky quartz maxi in fire. It’s the perfect piece going into the holiday season, and it’s so flattering. I got the belt and the crown are from a Halloween store, but you can also easily find a crown on Amazon or a store like Michael’s—same with the belt.
This Princess Jasmine look is effortless and super chic. It’s perfect for trick-or-treating with the kids or any Halloween party. I love the jewelry in this piece because it makes me feel super glamorous, and all of the components of this costume stand alone on their own and make great additions to your closet for after Halloween. I started this look with the Indah Seychelle Jumpsuit. We also have the jumpsuit in green and purple. And then, I added in some jewelry from one of my favorite vendors, Navone. The Aqua Aura Tasliman is a fun, chic necklace that can add a pop of color to any outfit. And it pairs perfectly with the brass Aliya necklace. I also could resist adding in the Chandra moon earrings. I always keep these earrings in stock because they’re so popular, and they go with everything! To finish off the look, I found a gold headpiece and belt from Amazon. But if you’re interested in this look, I can sell you the entire package.
This next look is my take on a grown-up Wednesday Adams. It’s fun, flirty, and super easy to put together. For this look, I started with the Indah Sandy dress. I love this dress for many more reasons than just this costume. It’s the perfect thing to put on to go out, and it’s super comfortable. Plus, you can adjust the length of it with the strings on the side of the dress. Then, I added this super cute Grasso white, lace collar by LoveShackFancy to give the outfit more of an “Adams Family” vibe. I also threw in some of my favorite Navone earrings, the Labradorite Freida earrings. I feel like the earrings give it kind of an ominous Wednesday Adams feel because of the eyes, but anyway, these earrings are great for dressing up any casual outfit. And finally, I finished off the entire look with a black braided wig. You can find one on Amazon or at your local Halloween store.
Growing up as a kid, I loved Mary Poppins, so I knew had to create a boho, modern Mary Poppins look for Halloween. I started this look with the LoveShackFancy Broadway Blouse in Ivory. I love this blouse so much, I even got one for myself. I feel like it’s the perfect combination of feminine and boho, and I can’t wait to wear it going into the holiday season. Then, I paired the blouse with these Rollas Eastcoast Flares. I’m weird about jeans, but I have three pairs of these pants in different colors. They’re super stretchy and fit in all the right ways. I can move in them and feel comfortable. Plus, they’re super cute, and the flair accentuates my waist. I also added a Friends of Friends Mario Hat to complete the look. This hat is a great accessory heading into Fall, especially when you want to dress for the season, but it’s too hot to wear sweaters. Next, I threw in this cool duffel weekender bag made from vintage Morrocan fabrics and leather. I mean who would Mary Poppins be without her magic bag? And finally, to finish everything off, I found this funky umbrella at a thrift store—but any umbrella will do—and added in some gloves and a red bowtie. You can buy these on Amazon, or find these two items at most department stores.
