My Favorite Clean Beauty Products
Sustainability and eco-consciousness don’t start and stop at fast fashion. There are many other ways to incorporate more eco-friendly and sustainable products into our lives. And while the fashion industry is a huge producer of pollution and waste, so is the beauty industry. So, I’ve compiled some of my favorite clean beauty products that are both good for the environment and of course, your skin.

I first found this product when I was visiting my daughter in Crested Butte, Colorado. And after talking with the founder and actually trying out the product, I knew I had to have it in my shop. Made with hyaluronic acid, Pro-Vitamin B-5, and Irish moss, this serum helps your skin hold in moisture which reduces the inflammation and the appearance of fine lines. I typically use it every day, once in the morning when I first wake up and then once at night right before I go to bed.

Wild Yonder Everlasting Immortelle Golden Oil
Officially licensed as the line of body care for The Grateful Dead™, Wild Yonder is a Wisconsin-based brand that focuses on creating plant-based skincare and body products without any added chemicals or synthetics. The Everlasting Immortelle Golden Oil is just one of the many popular products that the brand makes, but I do have to say it’s my favorite. Made with organic moringa oil, organic marula oil, and other organic essential oils, this serum is perfect for your daily gua sha routine to help depuff your eyes and promote lymphatic drainage.

Looking for a way to get perfect beach waves that aren’t crunchy or uneven? Well, look no further. I love Lua Sea Spray because it’s one of the sea sprays I’ve found that actually works for my hair. I get the loose beachy waves that I desire, but I can still run my fingers through my hair without hitting any tangles. Made with sea salt, coconut oil, aloe vera, and spearmint oil, this sea spray actually moisturizes my hair while still giving it enough body and volume. Perfect for a day when you want the beach look, but don’t have the time to go take a dip in the ocean.

LUA Skincare Body Luxe Dry Oil
Sometimes lotion doesn’t cut it, and now today there are so many added chemicals in conventional lotion. So, anytime I need a little extra skin hydration, I always go for the LUA Body Luxe Dry Oil. It hydrates my skin without leaving a greasy feeling after, and it feels super lightweight. Made with ylang ylang, hemp seed oil, and bergamot along with other natural ingredients, this dry oil offers natural relief to people suffering from dry, craggy elbows, scratchy knees, and cracked heels. For best use, I always put it on after a shower to let the oil really soak into my skin.
