Outfits Inspired by Crystals

If you’ve been in my shop lately or follow me on Instagram, you know we’ve recently had some new additions to the shop, and it shouldn’t be a surprise because we’re constantly getting in new shipments. However, I recently went to the gem show in Arizona and picked up some crystals for the shop.

Going to the gem show and finding new items for the shop is probably one of my favorite parts about Meadow Collective. I love being able to curate a unique set of pieces and create a space that people want to stay in. When I was in Arizona shopping for crystals and gems for new Forever Jewelry creations, I remember thinking to myself that I made it, that I was really living my Meadow Collective dream out. So to highlight some of the goodies I found at the gem show, we decided to put some crystal-inspired outfits together.

best outfits for going out

This first outfit is inspired by malachite. Other than that its beautiful green color, malachite is historically known for its protective qualities and creativity-boosting properties. Mindbodygreen.com says that throughout history malachite has been used in conjunction with the evil eye in jewelry designs and has served as an inspiration for many. And while we’re not so sure how malachite will protect us from Miami’s drivers, it definitely did inspire us to throw together this outfit.

The base of this outfit is this gorgeous Wave Crest Maxi in Kelly Green by Jen’s Pirate Booty. This is one of my favorite dresses I’ve seen from Jen’s Pirate Booty. The color is perfect for transitioning to spring and summer, and its cut is ultra-flattering on a variety of body types. To pull this look together, we kept it simple and just added the Binge Amalfi Bucket Bag by Ecru. One of my favorite things about this bag is since each one is handcrafted in Mexico, they’re all a little different from each other. To keep up with the malachite theme in this flat lay, we added some of our other favorite green items from the shop like the emerald Viisiionss wave candle, the cleansing face bar with Peruvian serpentine crystal inside, the crystal roller by Black + Jane, and the Botanica canopy incense.

This next outfit is inspired by aquamarine. We had to put something together for aquamarine because it’s March’s birthstone. Aquamarine is said to symbolize contentment and youthful energy, and some sources claim that since it has a special connection to your throat chakra, it helps with communication—wish I would’ve known about this when I took a public speaking class in high school. But healing properties aside, we love aquamarine for its cool tones that inspire the best spring outfits.

To put this outfit together, we started with the Soraya dress by Tanah Folk. I love this dress for a chill brunch vibe. It’s the perfect length for a casual daytime outing, and the print—well, I think it speaks for itself. To complete this outfit, we added this lovely blue knit clutch, the ADA wrap belt in cognac, these groovy blue turquoise Crap sunglasses, and the DanniJo beaded necklace. My favorite thing about this clutch is that it’s made using leftover scraps of fabric that normally would end up in the landfill—a big win for slow fashion. And its color pairs perfectly with other blues and the vibrant brown tones in the ADA wrap belt. Also, had to throw in these new Crap sunglasses we got.

boho chic outfits, the best brunch outfits

This next outfit is inspired by my favorite crystal, amethyst. Since purple is one of my favorite colors, you know I have to love amethyst. And apparently in the crystal world, amethyst is a pretty powerful one with a wealth of healing properties. According to Healthline, amethyst is said to enhance the immune system, help with headaches, promote peace, reduce stress, and open your third eye. And did we mention amethyst jewelry is a great accessory to so many outfits?

The main parts of this outfit are the Spell Lei Lei skirt and this adorable Mamacita tee. I love this tee-skirt combo because it’s casual enough for the day, but with the right accessories, you can dress it up for a happy hour or a dinner out. Also, one of my favorite things about this skirt is that you can undo some of the buttons for a dramatic high slit. To pull this outfit together, of course, we added an amethyst bracelet and this beaded gemstone necklace. If you want to wear this outfit with your hair up, you can also throw in the Solar Eclipse Yin Yang Claw clip. For effect, we also placed some of our favorite amethyst items from the shop like this amethyst crystal keychain, amethyst face roller, and JaxKelly crystal candle.

outfits inspired by crystals, tulum outfits

Our last outfit is inspired by citrine. Compared to its other crystal counterparts, citrine has a fair amount of healing properties, but what it’s most known for is bringing good vibes. Some sources say that throughout history, citrine has been known to bring happiness and peace to those who carry it. It’s the embodiment of summer days, good times with friends, and getting in the flow state. So, of course, we took all this into account when pulling together a citrine-inspired outfit.

We are absolutely living for this Spell Cha Cha Quilted Tunic dress! It’s one of my favorite pieces I’ve seen from Spell yet. I love its silhouette, and its fun, flirty vibe makes it the perfect dress for happy hour or walking around the city! Plus, the sash creates the illusion of a super snatched waist. To add some extra flair to this outfit, we threw in these new Jazz Safari sunglasses by Crap and the Eco Ribbon clutch. The light yellow tones in this outfit make it the perfect look for warmer, longer days. Pair this with some boots or heels to take it to the next level.

You can find all other items in these flat lays in our accessories, beauty, jewelry, home goods, and gifts sections on the site!
