The Best Brunch and Happy Hour Outfits

There’s always a lot going on this time of year, with school starting, fall coming up, and the impending holiday season—I know it’s still only August, but I’m already seeing Halloween stuff everywhere. And I think when life moves so fast sometimes we forget to enjoy ourselves and the present moment. We always need some time to relax and plan a happy hour or brunch to unwind, slow everything down, and hang out with our friends. So, that’s why I’ve put together some of my favorite brunch and happy hour looks.

I love the idea of brunch and happy hour with some good girlfriends. It’s a time to kick back, relax, and do something for yourself. And more than that, I love being able to put together an outfit that makes me feel good about myself, an outfit that makes me feel a little special. My favorite thing about these next four outfits is that while they are perfect for brunch or happy hour, you can also wear them for any special occasion depending on your accessories.

The best outfit to wear for brunch in Miami

The Indah butterfly top is one of my favorites.

Up first are the best brunch outfits. I absolutely love this look; it screams brunch at Greenstreet with your best gals. It’s relaxed and casual yet still is ultra chic and boho. These Tanah Folk pants are super flattering and comfortable. Translation: you can actually eat in these pants without feeling constricted or self-conscious. I love how perfect the print is for a transition into fall. The dark tones with a muted floral print are perfect for late summer and fall. And this white Indah top pairs perfectly with them. One of my favorite things about this top is how lightweight it is. The laser cut gives your some airflow and is also a super unique design. To finish off this outfit, I paired it with some funky Crap sunglasses, Navone earrings, this adorable handcrafted Binge Amalfi Bucket Bag, and these neutral wrap sandals.

Is there anything better than a Spell dress?

This next brunch outfit is the best brunch outfit, and maybe I’m a little biased because I’m obsessed with everything Spell. But, it’s still perfect for brunch, and it gives relaxed bohemian goddess vibes. One of my favorite things about the Spell Madame Peacock Boho Mini Dress is the colors. Like with the Tanafolk pants, its coffee-colored tone mixed with a warm floral print makes it the ultimate transition piece for summer to fall. The cut on the dress is pretty much flattering for every body type, and it’s made out of super soft sustainable fibers. This dress pretty much speaks for itself, but I love pairing it with these heart-shaped Crap sunglasses for an added girly factor and the Minda Birtney Braided Bucket Bag for some extra functionality. The wrap sandals and Friends of Friends Belle hat are the last missing pieces that really pull this outfit together.

Miami Happy Hour outfits

Jen’s Pirate Booty always delivers

Moving to a more nighttime vibe, these are the best happy hour outfits you could wear in Miami. They’re bohemian yet have a little added flair that makes them the best Miami happy hour outfits you can find. My favorite part of this first outfit is this Jen’s Pirate Booty Crazy Diamond Top in Olive. First of all, the color is such a great in-between seasons color. You could easily wear this in the height of summer or later into fall because of its rich tone. Secondly, I love this top’s cut-outs. It's flirty and fun yet still covers everything you need it to. It’s also 100% cotton, so it's super lightweight and breathable. And of course, it goes perfectly with these Rolla’s jeans. The flair on these jeans gives me 70s, boho vibes, and they’re the perfect in-between, classic medium wash.

When I was putting together this outfit, I was thinking of how I would style my hair. On one hand, this Lovely Bird Wide Felt Hat in fog gray really pulls the whole outfit together for the ultimate boho look. But, I’ve also been obsessed with these eco-friendly Solar Eclipse Yin and Yang claw clips lately, and they’re the perfect way to keep your hair up when it’s hot outside. To complete the look, I threw in this Navone necklace made with hammered brass spikes and faceted garnets and topped it all off with this brown Cut N Paste Bella Envelope Clutch

Drooling over this Spell slip!

They always say save the best for last, and that’s certainly what I did with this last happy hour look. Ever since we got this Spell Boudoir Slip dress in, I’ve been in love. I could go on for days about how much I love it. I mean just look at the color. That rich olive tone complements a variety of skin tones, and everyone who has tried it on glows when they walk out of the dressing room. The lace details add an extra flair that gives the dress an added sexy factor. The neckline plunges just enough but not too much, and the silhouette this dress creates is so flattering. For accessories, I love this crocheted bag because it adds an extra pop of color and gives a little contrast to the look. I also paired this look with some gold earrings and a neutral necklace.
